NATIONAL SKILL DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION
National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) is a not-for-profit public limited company set up by Ministry of Finance as Public Private Partnership (PPP) model. The Government of India through Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE) holds 49% of the share capital of NSDC, while the private sector has the balance 51% of the share capital.
NSDC was set up as part of a national skill development mission to fulfil the growing need in India for skilled manpower across sectors and narrow the existing gap between the demand and supply of skills. It aims to contribute significantly to the overall target of skilling up of people in India, mainly by fostering private sector initiatives in skill development programmes and to provide funding.
National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), endeavors to create a sustainable and enabling skill ecosystem and has recognised G-TEC EDUCATION as its Authorised Training Partner to deliver its national occupational standardised programs.
Skill India campaign was launched by Prime MinisterNarendra Modi on 15 July 2015 to train over 40 crore people in India in different skills by 2022 and G-TEC is committed to train our youth towards quality skilling and meaningful placements.
